Red Dead Redemption: Who Should Play Who In A Live Action Adaptation
12. Susan Grimshaw - Elizabeth Marvel
The Character: If there was one person within the Van Der Linde Gang who knew how to run a tight ship, it was Miss Grimshaw. Assigning tasks and ensuring everyone had a use, it was comforting to know she was around managing the more unruly members of the Van Der Linde flock.
In terms of storytelling within the game, Miss Grimshaw has but a few moments to shine, but when she gets herself involved, she's involved.
An infamous moment in the game involves Miss Grimshaw catching everyone off guard, reminding players how much of a stickler for the rules she is. Her final moments are made more pivotal as she is one of the few characters to stand her ground against the villains on screen.
The Actor: Elizabeth Marvel has been great in everything she's appeared in. Her striking roles in recent history have included a recurring role in House of Cards, Homeland and Unbelievable. Her parts in old-West thrillers like News of the World and even True Grit show she commands a stoic presence even in the smallest of roles too.
Give her a shotgun and some degenerates to boss around, and she'd be right at home.
