Once Carlos has secured the battery he needs to do some serious remodelling of the RPD shower rooms, heading back to Tyrell will unlock yet another piece of new dialogue.

This is a reference to Resident Evil Outbreak File 2, and the mission Desperate Times. Here, we see number one hero cop Marvin Branagh is organizing the few remaining cops and any survivors at the RPD to try and open a way out of the station. One by one the cops die in horrible ways, and the mission ends with Marvin staying behind as the survivors escape.

Another reference to this specific mission can be found in the West Office in both REmake games. Looking at the nameplates on the desk will show one for Rita Phillips, the young officer who goes down the tunnel on her own in Desperate Times.
