Resident Evil 3 Remake: One Detail NOBODY Is Talking About

The Effects Of The G-Virus

Now, the T and G-Virus are like chalk and cheese, however the G-Virus in the Resident Evil 2 Remake has proved that again, elements of humanity can be retained, even by those infected with G.

While in his first mutated form, William Burkin can be heard crying out to you saying “So-rry” and “He-lp-m-me” - even at some points crying in anguish for his daughter, Sherry.

It's almost as if Birkin is aware and conscious even though the G-Virus has overtaken him on a cellular level.

As Lisa Trevor was also infected with the G-Virus, maybe they're all in the same boat - the crux being a strong enough human desire. Perhaps from this one subject, Lisa has allowed elements of her humanity to travel though the viruses, or at least the possibility for humanity overall to break through.

The T-Virus and G-Virus are just two strands that descend from the Progenitor Virus, and from there, every viral outbreak and sinister plan to become a god can be traced back to Lisa.
