1. What The Antique Coins Are For

I'm including this simply because if you're like me, you'll spend the first two thirds of the game hoarding these coins, not knowing if you're going to need them for a puzzle that could be round the next corner.

It's a slight spoiler, so if you'd rather discover yourself, steer clear, but the Antique Coins are actually used towards the close of the game to unlock either a permanent health boost, a stamina buff or the holy grail of Resident Evil weapons; the Magnum.

You'll do this by dropping the coins into three separate bird cages, denoted by their totals on the front. Reduce the counter down by deciding which cages to splurge on, and the reward inside will be yours.

Just know that you can put these items in your storage box and ostensibly forget about them until it's made clear they're required. Inventory space is essential to survival, and literally every square counts.
