Resident Evil 8: 7 Brand New Leaks & Rumours You Need To Know

1. It Won't Be Out Until After A Nemesis Remake

Even though this entire article has been about the rumours surrounding Resident Evil 8, the same same website which leaked the spin-off news also suggests that the title isn't even Capcom's next project. It's allegedly still in development, but apparently it won't ship until a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is on shelves.

That initially seems a little worrying, considering Resident Evil 2 only just released and the seventh game came out two years ago. However, you would expect a remake of the third game in the style of the second to be the "easier" project. The original Nemesis already made use of Racoon City and reused elements from Resi 2, so with all of those assets created and the core mechanics established, a remake of the third title should be far more efficient than the second.

It'll still take a while though, which means, if these rumours are true, Resi 8 is still years off yet.
