Resident Evil 8: Village Is REAL, Coming 2021

One word: WEREWOLVES.

After months of rumours and speculation, Resident Evil VIII: Village has been officially announced at Sony's PS5 reveal event. The title will be launching at some point in 2021.

Coming towards the end of the show, it was revealed the sequel picks up with Ethan, protagonist of Resi 7, but will swap the American setting for something much more European and Gothically inspired.

With brand new enemies shown off - including werewolves (I'm excited to see what kind of virus/parasite is responsible for those) - Resi 8 looks like a huge departure for the franchise, and one that will certainly shake up what people expect from these games.
