9. Are Los Ilumenados Back?
Early on in the trailer, we cut to the snow-covered (and creepy) main locations of the game, which have been speculated to be set in Romania.
It appears several symbolic stakes are spread about the forest grounds, signifying some type of fractions ownership of these lands.
For any Resident Evil 4 players, it looks familiar to the make-shift stake symbols from the Los Ilumenados cult that were spread across the Spanish countryside. Does this mean they are about to make a return?
Not likely. Under closer inspection, the symbols differ, with this seemingly more a style reference to that former game, then a direct plot link.
Still, we can assume their symbols belonging to some people (or creatures) as equally unpleasant as Los Ilumenado.
