The Winterses weren't the only ones to have suffered at the hands of the Bakers family. Not long before Ethan arrived at the dilapidated Louisiana estate the home was visited by the opportunistic crew of a paranormal investigation show.
The camera operator was a new hire named Clancy Jarvis, and players got to experience part of his traumatic ordeal through two video tapes Ethan would find during his own visit.
The first is an increasingly atmospheric introduction to the horrors that await at the Bakers' home as Clancy and presenter Pete cautiously explore the home in search of their missing producer.
The next is a Saw-like puzzle room devised by Lucas. It's a creatively macabre section that puts Resi's puzzle solving in the spotlight as Clancy must figure out how to light a birthday cake. As seen from his charred remains, it doesn't end well for him.
