Resident Evil On Netflix: 8 Things We Want To See

3. Albert Wesker

Resident Evil 2
Capcom

It's not Resident Evil without Albert Wesker, the legendary antagonist that tormented characters like Chris and Jill for nearly two decades. Although his legacy lives on through his son Jake, the man himself has been absent in the series since RE5.

The Netflix series may be plotting to have a big bad of its own, but it just wouldn't be the same without Wesker. Between the impossibly cool shades and ridiculous trenchcoat, Wesker is tailor-made for the screen.

His appearance in the movies leaves a lot to be desired, so a more appropriate portrayal in the Netflix series would be welcome. Assuming the show is planned to run for multiple seasons, you could even introduce Wesker as an anonymous man in the shadows villain.

The series could have his name carry some power, with whispers of him looming in the background. Think of him like Negan from The Walking Dead, where his name was something to be feared. Characters like Chris and Jill could be used here, as well, to further emphasize that Wesker is bad news.
