One of only two who survived Project W, a program that was designed to help the human race adapt more seamlessly with the Progenitor Virus in Oswell E. Spencer’s quest for immortality. The thirteen children were seen to have superior DNA and after being abducted they were all given the surname ‘Wesker’ in honour of the head researcher.
Alex was seen as the pinnacle of the program excelling in multiple fields and pleasing Spencer at every turn to the point of even receiving her own island once the Soviet Union fell - there she would be it’s ruler.
Some time after she had claimed Albert’s Uroboros samples from Africa, in 2011 she conducted the Fear Experiment which would eventually lead to her horrifying mutation. She ordered the kidnapping of a large number of TerraSave staff including Claire Redfield and Moira Burton, but really this was an excuse to abduct Natalia Korda for her Rebirth Program.
How To Beat:
After failing to transmit her consciousness into Natalia Korda, Alex attempts suicide, but thanks to the nature of the T-Phobos, she hesitates and those split-seconds are enough for the fear to take hold and mutate her.
The confrontation is split into two stages with the first being a game of cat and mouse. Thankfully, Natalia can detect her before she appears, so utilizing this power is key. The second stage boils down to shooting the red barrels long enough until Alex can be drawn outside for Claire to get a clean shot.
Finally, she can be finished with the rocket launcher. A staple of the franchise.
