One of the many test subjects of the T-Virus in the early years of the Arklay Facility, Yawn eventually escaped and turned the Spencer Mansion into its home as there was no shortage of Umbrella employees and S.T.A.R.S. member to feed on.
Yawn - nicknamed that by Umbrella staff due to its large mouth - stalked Bravo Team members Rebecca Chambers and Richard Aiken before running into Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, before eventually being put down for good.
How To Beat:
Yawn is encountered twice during Resident Evil.During the first fight, if Richard joins the battle it will be over in no time at all. During the second fight, Yawn’s health is almost doubled and will require a bit more thought before approach.
The turning circle of Yawn is like that of a semi truck, so getting behind the giant snake shouldn’t be too much trouble. From there, Yawn can be caught in a loop around the bookcase which means Jill or Chris should be safe from attacks.
