Rocksteady's Superman: 9 Leaked Details You Need To Know

8. There's No Playing As Clark Kent

Although Rocksteady have always nailed the superhero aspect of their comic-book influences, they've never quite had the same luck with translating hero alter-egos over to their games. Bruce Wayne made sporadic appearances across the Arkham's three main releases, but the focus was always firmly on Batman.

Though that was disappointing to some, it sounds as though the developers will similarly be ignoring Superman's alter-ego for their upcoming title. That's a bit of a shame though, as there's scope to wring drama out of Superman who's trying to balance his normal life with his heroic activities, rather than have him constantly in the suit.

Still, Rocksteady's strengths clearly lie in indulging in the fantastical side of comic books, and they need to nail that part of Superman first, leaving the door open to exploring the character's alter-ego in later releases.
