Rocksteady's Rumoured Justice League Game: 16 Features It MUST Include
14. Build Areas To Be Explored By Different Characters
The Flash is arguably one of the most powerful members of the Justice League. His speed makes it possible for him to literally be in two places at the same time, travel to other dimensions as well as to the past and future, and even vibrate at such speeds that any attacks can't touch him. So, why does he need to be in a team? Because other members have abilities that he doesn't.
This should be evident in the game, not just when it comes to combat but in exploration as well. There should be plenty of collectibles, hidden missions, and even alternate mission routes hidden throughout the level design for players to find, if they're playing the right character.
Superman's x-ray vision could grant him knowledge of hidden items that other heroes might miss but, while lead would block that, Batman's sonar devices might show things Kal-El missed. Even knowing where these items are may not be a guarantee of getting them. Batman has explosives and Superman is ridiculously strong, but sometimes they may still need a Manhunter or speedster to phase through some walls and collect.
Building areas to be explorable and replayable with different characters is key to the experience.
