Rocksteady's Rumoured Justice League Game: 16 Features It MUST Include

13. Destructible Environments

Continuing on from the last point, the environments in this game are going to have to cater to two extremes with different styles of play.

On the one hand, you have street-level heroes like Batman who have to slowly make their way through most areas, climbing through air ducts and up elevator shafts in order to traverse internal environments. At the other end of the spectrum are beings of godlike power such as Superman and Shazam, for whom a few walls aren't going to create much of an obstacle.

Superman could simply punch through a wall as easily as he could walk through those goons hapless enough to want "Fought Kryptonian" on their resumes before submitting them to LexedIn. As awesome as seeing an unstoppable god-level being walking through walls and shrugging off attacks, destructible environments are at their best in boss fights against similarly powerful opponents.

While it's unlikely we'll see any Man of Steel levelling of entire cities here, the thought of battles that can cause the building we're in to start coming down around the combatants, forcing players to traverse the environment while fighting for their lives, is certainly one that will get most fans salivating.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
