Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - 10 Boss Cheese Methods You Need To Know

8. Emma and Ishinn

Shadowrush.

With this skill you can use it to close the gap between you and an enemy, dealing a heavy blow, knocking them off balance, and you can chain it into a push-off used to reposition yourself, or even rain down more blows from above. It does cost a heft amount of spirit tokens to use the jump at the end, but we’re not too fussed about that for this next cheese strat.

If you’ve chosen to walk the path of evil and sided with Father Owl in order to take over the land with your power, Emma and Isshin will try to stop you (more fool them, right?)

Normally this pair can be a right pain in the posture to deal with because of their powerful strikes and their ability to rush from one side of the arena to the other. However by keeping them at a distance, using the shadowrush ability and then jumping back immediately after it lands, you can evade their counters 90 percent of the time. In about 3-5 minutes you can bake a nice humble pie for this pair to chow down on and all it will have cost you is the knowledge that you’ve cheesed yet another set of bosses.

Also just saying, if Isshin really is the master of all these moves, maybe he should have seen this one coming.
