2. Find Harunaga To Start Trading Carp Scales

We've all been randomly clicking R3 to see if there were enemies nearby, only to lock into something lurking in the water.

Turns out these are man-eating fish, and they guard some oversized Coy Carp - though the latter isn't farmable until you've met Harunaga, the merchant who lives in a pot.

Located amongst a rock formation to the right of the bridge that takes you into Hirata Estate, talk to Harunaga and you'll open up the side-quest to track down Carp Scales.

His wares are extremely helpful, giving you a heal that fully recovers vitality and cures all status ailments, plus another that considerably reduces burn buildup. You'll have to hunt down a number of Carps to get enough scales for the full set, but return to Harunaga frequently and you'll eventually get everything.
