Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Ranking Every Boss From Easiest To Hardest

12. The Divine Dragon

In terms of spectacle, this boss is one of the most atmospheric and jaw dropping, and the art design that went into creating this beast and its seven-bladed sword is outstanding. It’s just a shame that this fight isn’t really that much of a challenge, especially when you consider it's meant to be such a pivotal part of the main plot.

However, one could argue that its relative ease is meant to highlight the dragon's age and reluctance to do battle. Its fighting style does support this, as the dragon prefers to use pawns to get in your way and keep you at range with long sweeping blasts of air.

At first it might not be clear how to beat the boss, as it’s so huge that you can’t actually get close enough. But then you'll notice the roots that have sprung up conduct lightning at the top. Putting two and two together will see you springboard into the air and rain down lightning on the creature until it dies.

It’s not particularly tough, although in terms of spectacle it’s right up there at the top.
