9. Celosia (Colossus #11)

Celosia is memorable for being far smaller than most of the game's colossi, and while the battle's a bit gimmicky in nature, it is a fight that will punish those who aren't quick off the mark, with Celosia's angry barge move potentially making short work of Wander.

The trick, of course, is to use fire to back the creature off the cliff edge, breaking its armour. Then it's as simple as vaulting on its back and stabbing away.

The solution's pretty obvious for a fight this late in the game, but it does offer up something totally different, and that was very much welcome.
