Skyrim PS3 DLC Saga: 5 Rumours For Future Content

3. Dawnguard And Hearthfire To Be Discounted?

dawnguard Dragonborn issues aside, we can't really forget about the first two DLC contents either, those being Dawnguard, the seminal DLC title for Skyrim which followed the plot of either joining or overthrowing an evil Vampire Lord, and its follow up expansion pack Hearthfire, which allowed users to build their own homes from raw materials. It seems an age since these two expansion packs were announced and then arrived onto the Xbox 360, leaving forlorn PlayStation fans out in the cold. A further kick in the teeth came for them with the release of Dragonborn leaving them a whole three DLC packs behind their Microsoft rivals. Recently, Bethesda announced a 50 percent discount on the first two Skyrim DLCs for Xbox 360, Dawnguard and Hearthfire, and it is expected that when the aforementioned titles do eventually wind up on the PS3, that Sony fans will get a similar if not higher discount on the products considering they have been waiting so long for the content to arrive. With Bethesda perhaps concerned that PS3 users will give up and turn their backs on the content, it makes good commercial sense really to offer the two expansion packs at a knock down price to keep them sweet.
