Survival games are all the rage these days, and what better place to channel your inner Bear Grylls than the hostile climes of Skyrim? This mod adds hypothermia as a factor to your survival, with different regions of the world subjecting you to different temperatures and conditions that affect how well you stave off the blistering cold.

As well as being defined by location, hypothermia is also dependent on what clothes you're wearing, and can kick in when you're wet or spend too much time in the water. Frostfall requires the Campfire mod to run, and harmonises nicely with it as the latter lets you build shelters and camps, where you can then rest and warm yourself up.
