8. Immersive Weapons (And Immersive Armors)

Skyrim's range of wearables and weaponry was never terribly impressive, and looks particularly sparse now that the vast and varied Witcher 3 has come along. These two mods address that problem, ensuring that your current-gen return to Skyrim will yield plenty of new goodies to get your hands on.

At the moment, Immersive Weapons adds 224 new weapons to Skyrim, including weird sickles with chains attached to them, halberds, ornate bows, hammers, and some weapons that are, frankly, impossible to describe.

From the same modder (hothtrooper44) comes Immersive Armors, which adds 55 new armour sets into the game, 396 new shields and an array of other appurtenances, including eye patches for wannabe pirates, and scarves for warm-blooded pansies who can't handle the cold.

All these new bits and bobs to find in the world will give loot enthusiasts plenty of incentive to venture out into the world once more.
