Sony Gamescom Conference 2013: 5 Awesome Things We Learned

3. Games Galore!

ps4 There's an unannounced PS4 game from Naughty Dog. And if that doesn't sell you a PS4 I don't know what will. After Sony reminded people that PS Vita had a lot of great games coming, they focused on PS4 and boy, did they focus on PS4. First up was a new exclusive called Everything's Gone to the Rapture. Then came Rime, a game which looked awesome but isn't really describable except it had a JRPG vibe. Then came Helldivers. Then ResoGun. Then Minecraft. You get the picture. There were a hell of a lot of games introduced at Sony's Gamescom conference and it only shows Sony's commitment to making PS4 the best it can be. Of course, I like to think I am objective and probably the Microsoft guys would say quality over quantity. Okay, fair enough, but all these games look super awesome. It says a lot that I haven't even mentioned Infamous: Second Son; which showed off an awesome trailer and Killzone: Shadow Fall which exhibited some kick-ass multiplayer footage. Assassins Creed 4 had a showing, where it demonstrated it could be played on PS Vita via remote play. And then Watch Dogs on PS4 kicked all kinds of ass. Basically as Sony say themselves, they are all about the games, and with their showing at Gamescom, it is hard to disagree with them.
