5. Genji (Overwatch)

Weirder things have happened, right?

Including a character from the most popular game at the moment would really be a great marketing strategy for Soul Calibur 6. Overwatch continues to remain on fire, with millions of people playing every day. Many of the characters on the roster actually have a lot of potential for a fighting game (wouldn't an Overwatch fighter be the best?), but Genji makes the most sense of all.

Tracer may be the more obvious choice, but her focus on using guns would make her extremely difficult to implement. Genji, on the other hand, is much more viable because of his use of swords and shuriken.

Genji would play very similarly to Cervantas, with a heavy focus on the use of his swords. He could also mix up his combos with the use of his smaller dagger or even a quick burst of shuriken fire. His final move could be the use of his Dragonblade, powering him up exponentially.

Despite seeming like a ten-to-one chance, including Genji within Soul Calibur actually makes a lot of sense.
