Soul Calibur 6: 10 Things It Must Learn From Tekken 7

9. Give Characters Dialogue In Their Own Unique Languages

One of the nicest touches that Tekken has been including in recent games has been giving characters dialogue in the language of the country they hail from. It€™s probably harder to coordinate and maybe a little more expensive than a normal dub with only Japanese or English dialogue, but going that extra mile is what gives Tekken it€™s charm, while helping to make the characters feel authentic. Giving this same feature to Soul Calibur would definitely add to the experience. SC is a pseudo historical world populated by a diverse cast, and likewise, being able to chose from a selection of different languages for character creation would be a huge upgrade for the mode. While character-specific language tracks aren€™t a necessity (the team has quite a lot to get right before this should be a priority), it would be a great touch to make it clear that this is the first serious Soul Calibur game since SCII.
