10. Blame Canada
Admittedly, it's hard to stop laughing once you visit Canada rendered in all its 8-bit glory. It's just so typical and hilarious of Trey Parker and Matt Stone to further riff on America's neighbors by downplaying the country into one long extended joke on the graphical capabilities of yesteryear and pointless fetch quests. What's easily missable though, is that the overworld theme of Canada is actually an 8-bit rendered version of Blame Canada; the Oscar-nominated song from the brilliant musical film South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. It's not as noticeable immediately, but after a good minute of wandering around the overworld, the notes and beats begin to kick in for one hilarious revelation. There are also a lot more obvious musical references to be found roaming around the various stores in South Park, ranging from some of Chef's greatest hits to the Montage Song and many more. Nothing is more awesome than hearing a retro style version of Blame Canada though. It's easily one of the more well-placed jokes in the entire game.
