7. Kraven The Hunter
Kraven The Hunter has always been one of Spider-Man's most vicious enemies, so vicious in fact that he seemingly killed the Web-Slinger and buried him alive once before in the comics. Suffice to say, he's a notable adversary and one that would definitely make a formidable addition to the sequel's villainous roster.
While he arguably deserves to stand as a lead antagonist in a Spider-Man game of his own, Kraven's introduction into Insomniac's universe would be a significant presence that a lot of fans would clamour for. Not only would his unique visual style, eccentric personality and vivid backstory be interesting to see interpreted by the game studio, but Kraven's use of a mysterious strength-enhancing serum alongside his honed hunter senses will mean he can go toe to toe with Spider-Man in both brain and brawn.
Slotting Kraven into a side-mission role would be the right move for the sequel. Not only would it allow the character to make his debut in the universe unhindered by the game's other villains, but could also set him up to take a more significant antagonistic position going into a third entry or even beyond. He has the legs to be a big part of the universe going forward, especially as he's had a number of encounters with other major villains as well...
