Spider-Man 2 PS5: 10 Alternate Costumes It MUST Include

The 2017 Spider-Man animated series has grown into one of the best takes on the wall-crawler yet. The show wasted no time in tackling the symbiote storyline, offering up their take on the classic story in Season 1. Peter assimilates with V-252 early on, but realises quickly the dangers the parasite has in store and returns the specimen. The symbiote rears its ugly head throughout the series, having merged with multiple characters along the way.

Season 1 saw a big change to the show. Retooled as “Spider-Man: Maximum Venom” the show delves even further into the V-252 storyline. Max creates a ‘safe’ synthetic symbiote, replicating it on a cellular level. In order to defeat the Technovore (a rogue piece of sentient technology), Peter chooses to bond with the new symbiote.

The initial bonding goes well, allowing Peter to use the symbiote’s power without the negative side effects associated with Venom. When Dr Connors discovers the secret project, he reveals himself to have bonded with the original Venom symbiote. Spider-Man attempts to remove the symbiote from Connors, but Venom manages to combine himself with the synthetic symbiote substitute and escapes.

The design of the new suit seems to take inspiration from the PS4 game, with the big spider design on the front. So it would be great to see Insomniac return the favour by including it into the game.
