Spider-Man: Miles Morales - 10 Major Characters Who Must Appear

While Rio Morales appears in the original Spider-Man PS4, she should definitely return for the sequel too.

The mother of Miles and widow of Jefferson Davis, who dies in the events of the first game, Miles is very close to his mother and given how well Insomniac handled the bonds between Peter, Mary Jane and Aunt May, it'll be really interesting to see the family dynamic from Miles' perspective.

It's potentially within the realms of possibility that another tragic death could be on the cards here too as, in the comics, Rio is accidentally fatally shot by the police in a confrontation with Venom.

Of course, Rio doesn't have to die. Another take on the story could be her realising something's up with her son, and being concerned given how soon it is after the death of her husband.
