3. Scarlet Spider
Ben Reily- the Scarlet Spider. One of the principle characters in one of Spider-Man's most confusing comic runs, and contender for the edgiest costume yet.
Edgy as it may be, the Scarlet Spider outfit is easily one of the coolest the web-slinger has ever worn, even if it isn't technically him that wore it. The combination of the scarlet red bodysuit and blue hoodie is pretty iconic, especially when paired with the pretty fantastic variation of the spider logo.
In regards to a special skill for the Scarlet Spider outfit, the ability to create clones of himself (much like the Spider Rush ability in Edge of Time), would be a pretty great nod to the roots of the character, and could work well in gameplay.
Whether the outfit allowed the clones to distract, or whether they just rush the enemy for maximum damage, either effect would be unique.
No matter what you think of the story it originated from, you have to admit that this outfit would look amazing in Insomniac's engine.
