Spider-Man PS4: 10 Beloved Minor Villains We Want To See
2. Morbius
Another of the more supernatural characters that could feel at odds with the tone of what we know so far, Morbius may be an unlikely one. Where there's a will there's a way, however, so let's focus on that will...
The Living Vampire's tale is a solemn one, meaning he'd never be a strict baddie to be beaten up. His actions are often motivated by desperation and Spider-Man has often been tasked with saving him as much as defeating him. Players' ability to hold their own against him, perhaps having to ensure both he and they survive in a timed challenge (neither defeating him nor allowing him to win) would make for an interesting pace change in a game like this.
Given his unpredictable state-of-mind and regular switching of allegiances, Morbius has never really become a "great" Spider-Man villain. He is a great character, however, and the connection he has to both Peter Parker and Spider-Man always brings an intriguing duality to his stories. Given that the game's developers have been keen to highlight the role of Peter in the story, Morbius could be an exciting addition.
