Spider-Man PS4: 10 Beloved Minor Villains We Want To See
4. Shathra
With this game thus far grounded in a little more realism than others (considering that this is a game about a guy who shoots webs from his wrists, after all), a supernatural element like this may feel a tad out of place. But, should the developers look to include some of Spider-Man's more mystical elements, Shathra could be a fantastic choice.
Another in a long line of villains who've hunted Spider-Man for his animal side, Shathra senses his arachnid aura and attempts to catch him to feed her children. The Spider-Wasp is stronger and faster than Pete, and in his first encounter with her he's only able to escape thanks to his acute knowledge of New York City.
Turning the typical Spider-Man game tropes on their head and having players act as hunted rather than hunter for a time would be a nice touch. Having to lose Shathra and lead her into a trap could slot into the later portion of the game where players are familiar with the setting, forcing them to get inventive with their movement around the map.
