7. Kingpin Confirmed

Despite originally being Daredevil's big bad, Wilson Fisk, AKA, the most awful bald dude in comic book history (sorry Lex), has more commonly been associated with the wallcrawler over the past two decades. We probably have Fox's '90s Spidey show to thank for that, but still, he's a great character and more than deserving of a gaming appearance.

The self-styled 'Kingpin of Crime' doesn't seem to be enjoying his time in Insomniac's universe, however. For starters, the guy's in prison, and now he's having to contend with a turf war to boot. Seeing as how he's Mister Negative's primary competition, it's safe to assume that Fisk will be featuring a great deal in Insomniac's story, as both a villain and, perhaps, reluctant ally.

What Fisk's appearance bodes for the wider Marvel Universe getting a highlight remains unclear, but it would be fantastic if the likes of Daredevil and co. got a shout out at some point or another. Considering that almost every Spidey title has included cameos from other New York heroes, it wouldn't be at all surprising if that was indeed the case, especially if Insomniac are intent on building their own version of the Marvel Universe.
