Although Tuesday's demo opted for a more linear focus than perhaps most were hoping for, that didn't stop New York City from being in full display. The world looks simply marvellous, and the addition of specific interiors is only bound to make it an even better environment for players to explore.
Seeing as how this will be the first Spidey title to be built for the current generation from the ground up, it only makes sense that this New York is the most detailed and expansive that we've seen yet.
Just, please - please - make sure there are no balloon missions. I don't think my heart could take it.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
