9. Mister Negative

Mister Negative is perhaps one of the most likely candidates on this list as many viewers already seem to have spotted the crime-lord's Inner Demons in the first trailer. While a few eyebrows have been raised at this possibility, there's definitely cause to believe Martin Li's dark alter ego would be a great addition.

For a start, Mister Negative has plenty of goons at his disposal in the form of his changeable Inner Demons. The control he is able to exercise over unsuspecting individuals is deadly, meaning a city full of bad guys can actually make logical sense. It won't be a stretch to believe that every corner in New York is home to someone hell-bent on crushing the spider.

Along similar lines to Jonathan Ohnn earlier, Mister Negative's ties to a very sordid criminal world would make for a darker Spidey game than we're used to seeing. Li's dominating personality and his ability to take virtually anyone under his control has often forced Peter Parker into very delicate and dangerous situations. This could be stretched into a story with the longevity for a full game if some of Pete's friends get swept up in proceedings...
