1. Spider-Armor MK III

If the Spider-Armor MK I and Bulletproof suits were examples of Peter Parker's intelligent design, then the Spider-Armor MK III takes this to a whole new level and carries a better eye for design. This suit, from the epic 'Ends of the Earth' storyline, is absolutely one of the coolest Spider-Man suits of all time.

With all aspects of this suit designed with specific foes in mind, this suit was truly indispensable in helping Peter defeat Octavius and the rest of the Sinister Six. Its helmet had an acuity device to help him trace Chameleon's heartbeat and avoid being duped and it carried a holographic visor to cut through Mysterio's visions, to name just two tools.

Assuming there'll be more than one villainous antagonist to defeat over the course of the game, this suit would be an excellent unlockable for a challenge mode in which all foes are faced in succession. Switching between gadgets a la Batman's Arkham games (again, I know!) would keep the player guessing while helping the gruelling contest remain beatable.

This may be one for the more ambitious player out there, but the Spider-Armor MK III certainly makes it feasible!
