Spider-Man PS4: 10 Marvel Games Insomniac Should Make Next

While we might already have a Deadpool game, Insomniac are perfectly poised to turn their hand to the Merc' with the Mouth. Insomniac have always been praised for their bright, zany characters and often unconventional game design (think Sunset Overdrive or the original Spyro trilogy), so they would be well-versed in tackling this most chaotic of hero in his many, quippy forms.

With a fourth-wall breaking slew of weaponry and a relatively undefined set of powers or fighting styles beyond his penchant for firearms and regenerative powers, Insomniac could have a lot of fun with the kit that you'd get to play with. This new Deadpool could even play like a slightly tempered spiritual successor to Saints Row, letting us run riot in an Avengers-dominated New York.

Moreover, if they wanted to commit to bringing over as many representations of the character as possible (as they have done with the numerous Spidey suits), we could easily see the many alternate universe Deadpools showing up to wreak relative havoc on the villains of the Marvel Universe.

Let us kill the Marvel Universe, or annoy Galactus into firing us, or pal around Canada with Wolverine. Insomniac: make it happen.
