7. 20 Classic Suits Will Be Unlocked

Though many fans have warmed to Insomniac's bold new version of Spidey's iconic red-and-blue costume, the devs have now revealed that it won't be the only suit fans will be wearing while web-swinging through New York City.

In fact, it's been hinted that players actually won't even don the developer's original costume until partway through the title, instead beginning the game with the classic version without the white spider insignia. The other confirmed suits so far are Spidey's punk costume and his all-black noir getup, but apparently over 20 are set to appear.

What's particularly interesting though is that these suits won't simply be cosmetic options, but will actually impact the gameplay, coming with their own strengths and weaknesses, offering buffs for specific styles of play.

Likewise, you'll only be able to unlock these additional suits if you have the right crafting materials, no doubt as a means to encourage players to take on side missions and scour the massive open world for the materials they need.
