6. Three Expansions Are Coming Post-Launch

While the core story mode of Insomniac's Spider-Man is said to be wrapped up nicely by the time the credits role, the developers are already planning more of the wall-crawler's adventures to come in the months following the game's launch.

Dubbed "The City That Never Sleeps", so far three story chapters have been announced that will introduce not only new missions and suits, but also potentially brand new playable characters. The first expansion set to drop is said to focus on Black Cat, acting as a standalone mini-narrative focusing on what she was doing during the events of the main game.

It's unclear just how substantial these extra chunks of gameplay are going to be, but if they match the same quality as, say, Arkham Knight's A Matter of Family DLC, giving you the option to play as iconic heroes and villains in the Marvel universe, then they could offer a real incentive to keep returning to Insomniac's NYC.
