Morbius the Living Vampire might be on his way to getting the Jared Leto treatment on the big screen, but that doesn't mean Insomniac can't lessen the blow. The vampire has been a staple of Marvel's supernatural comics for decades now, and having featured heavily in Spidey media during that time too, now's the perfect time to remind everyone of that association.
And though yes, Insomniac have denied the prospect of other Marvel heroes getting in on the act, it would be a great way of getting Blade involved too. Marvel's supernatural element has fallen by the wayside in favour of the company's cosmic comics in recent years, but that's no reason to write off a mission potentially featuring the character.
Not only would Morbius provide a nice (gothic) change in tone for the game, it would further compliment its wide approach to Spidey's source-material. All options should be considered, and with Morbius' stock set to inevitably plummet in the run up to a Leto-associated project, featuring him now would benefit both Insomniac and the character too.
