Spider-Man PS4: 32 Secrets, References And Easter Eggs You Must Find
1. The Osborn Family - ENDING SPOILERS
The ending to Marvel's Spider-Man had a lot of references packed into it. First there were the pumpkin bombs on the desk in Norman's lab, Miles being bitten by the same spider he was in the comics, and plenty more. The big one, however, involved Harry Osborn - and it's a doozy.
The revelation that Norman's been using a symbiote to keep him alive is absolutely wild, but if you're unconvinced that that is indeed the thing he's using, it actually looks as though Insomniac have added in a subtler tease to confirm its identity.
The project number for Harry's tube is GR 35. He's enveloped in green goop of course, adding a subconscious connection to the Green Goblin into the mix (a transition Norman is likely to undertake in the sequel), but the number is important. Ultimate Spider-Man #35 featured the first appearance of Venom, and the context behind that issue is equally important too, as it also involved the symbiote being created for medical purposes.
It might be a stretch, but that was definitely the black costume in that tube. Here's hoping more details come in the DLC...
