7. Wilson Fisk

Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin is the first boss fight in the game and basically just a tutorial for every major battle that follows. It's incredibly simple - take out the turrets, avoid Fisk barrelling towards you, web him up and keep hitting him - but it is nevertheless a neat enough introduction to this universe's iteration of the larger-than-life supervillain.

Plus, if you're silly enough to stand still, Fisk can actually mete out some mean damage, which so early in the game might come as a bit of a shock. It's a shame he ends up defeated so easily and exits the story so early considering how awesome he looks here, but hopefully we'll be seeing him again in the sequel.

A fairly forgettable fight all things considered, then, but how can you not love Spidey's post-fight nod to the original Sam Raimi Spider-Man movie, where he asks a strung-up Fisk, "So, should we kiss now?"
