Spider-Man PS4: Every Boss Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Doctor Octopus

The game sure as hell saved the best for last, with the final boss fight against Doctor Octopus unequivocally stealing the show.

While not as challenging as the Mister Negative battle, this is easily the most visually impressive, cinematic and intense fight in the entire game. It also brings high-stakes to the table, with Peter chasing down the Devil's Breath anti-serum in order to save an infected Aunt May.

Being equipped with the Anti-Ock suit is a nice touch here, in what's a suitably bombastic end-boss, generously splicing gorgeous cut-scene sequences in-between the breakneck battle against Octavius.

Battling atop Oscorp may not be the most original setting ever, but fighting Doc Ock on the side of the building sure is pretty, and the supervillain's attacks are just varied enough to keep you on your toes.

As a capper to Octavius' intriguing, affecting arc throughout the game, this was everything fans were hoping for.
