10. Mary Jane Gameplay (And Job)

Keeping with the theme of Insomniac doing their own thing with the Spidey license, Mary Jane will be a reporter for the Daily Bugle this time around and, while Peter himself is older than most typical interpretations of Spider-Man, he and MJ still aren't together.
Instead, MJ is a "very close friend" of Pete's, and while one would expect sparks to fly at some point in the title, it looks as though MJ will get her own chance to shine away from the confines of filling up that love-interest role. How do we know this? Well, in the trailer we can see the camera loop around to MJ's perspective in what looks to be some sort of hostage situation underway at Grand Central.
The station always has been a place of action for Marvel's New York-based heroes, and, while we don't yet know what the Inner Demons are up to there, both Spidey and MJ team-up to take them down.
Insomniac have also said that players will get to take control of MJ for "key moments" in the game's narrative, so expect some more sleuthing from the redhead come the title's release next year.
