8. No More Forced Stealth Missions

As well-wrought as the characters of Miles Morales and Mary Jane Watson are in the game, it's utterly infuriating that both end up shoved into a series of clunky, perfunctory forced stealth sequences along the critical path.

In addition to being stunningly boring and unimaginative, they kill the game's pacing dead every time they show up, creating a 15-minute chore before you can get back to the web-slinging action you actually paid your money for.

If Insomniac is smart, they'll omit these groan-worthy throwback missions from Spider-Man 2 entirely, and considering the fan backlash against them has been incredibly vocal, it's actually pretty damn likely.
