3. A Bigger Role For Silver Sable

Though Silver Sable does make a few sporadic appearances throughout the game and even manages to get the better of Spidey in one instance, she never feels like more than a sketch of a character, having a cursory influence on the narrative and not a whole lot more.

If Spider-Man 2 does indeed feature Venom, then Sable's a perfect fit for inclusion given her comic book run-ins with the character and her dogged desire to capture him.

While the upcoming Silver Linings DLC will presumably focus on Silver Sable, there's clear potential for the character to have a far more abundant role in the sequel, and more to the point, be a playable character at some point.

When we're talking about potentially playable characters for Spider-Man 2, though, there's one omission Insomniac can't afford to make under any circumstances...
