What They've Done Before: Infamous, Sly Cooper

Why They'd Be Perfect: Sucker Punch have already established themselves as masters of the superhero genre. Sure, they've been making up their own heroes and stories rather than using pre-existing franchises, but some of the greatest power trips you can find on consoles have come out of the developer's brilliant Infamous series.

And they've already proved they can nail a combat system that accommodates a diverse range of powers and movement abilities in an open world setting, so taking on a superhero like Iron Man should be easy for a developer with Sucker Punch's previous experience.

Add in the rich world of the comic book and get rid of Infamous' moral system (it was never very good anyway) and you could be left with a morally complex superhero story, full of all the laughs and jokes that make the character such a charismatic presence in the first place.
