Everyone from Smosh to Pewdiepie were simply embarrassing and had no place amongst a celebration of the industry. It€™s like having Carrot Top present Best Picture at the Oscars. I€™ll admit that I enjoy watching my fair share of Let€™s Play€™s on Youtube and perusing the internet for varying opinions on all things related to gaming, but that doesn€™t mean they€™re shining beacons of intelligence that should show up and steal the spotlight. Are we celebrating the industry or Youtube here?
