Splinter Cell Blacklist: 10 Reasons It's The Best Of The Series

3. Customisation

Splinter Cell Blacklist g Blacklist is also heavily centered on being able to customise Sam's loadout and abilities to the player's will; playing the game in one of three play styles will result in you gaining points, which can be used to buy better gear, such as enhanced night-vision goggles, more resistant body armour and so on. The three modes are Ghost (rewards non-lethal kills), Panther (rewards silent kills) and Assault (rewards you playing like Rambo); each has its own set of achievements and unlocks new aspects of Sam's arsenal. Naturally, though you can change up your play style throughout the game, the implication is that you'll have an easier time if you try to stick to one style for each run. Giving players maximum rewards for playing like this also promotes replayability more than ever in the series.
