Spyro Reignited: 6 Levels We Can't Wait To See

Tree Tops is probably the most platformer-y level Spyro has ever flown through. As Reignited gets closer, fans can’t wait to test themselves again.

Unlike a couple of the levels on this list, Tree Tops has already had its new look shared with the world. And like every other level artwork Toys For Bob have put out so far, it has left fans salivating. This level is Spyro. Everything about it comes together perfectly.

There’s some debate over whether this is more difficult than Twilight Harbour, but it depends on your approach. What makes Tree Tops hard is that it simply must be played at speed. And that’s not gatekeeping about the ‘right way’ to play. If you go to slow, you won’t make the gaps. Most of the climbing sections need to be played with a full-tilt charge. Like an entire level designed around those big red balls on Total Wipeout.

Even those pesky thieves change tactics here. Rather than carrying eggs as normal, now they steal your gems. One mistake while chasing them and you’re toast. Tree Tops, perhaps more than any other Spyro level, is a love letter to the classic platformers that came before it.
