Spyro Reignited: 8 Bosses We Can't Wait To Fight

With this flame proof armour, Shemp was the first boss requiring some tactics. It didn't take a Chess Grandmaster to figure them out, but the game did at least ask you to think. Get behind him and the battle becomes much easier, but he's only the second boss so you wouldn't expect too much of a fuss.

More so than Ripto even, defeating him just felt good. Not because of the challenge (he actually puts up fairly little resistance), but because you just can't wait to see the end of this arrogant jerk. He wore sunglasses purely because he thought he looked more cool. That was the only reason. In Japan, he was even known as Doctor Cool. It was the 90s, but come on.

He's had a major upgrade in Reignited too, based on artwork released so far. While most have just had their corners curved off, Shemp has been almost entirely redesigned, yet still kept his identity. It's remarkable, what Toys For Bob have done here. Originally he looked a bit like a sentient pineapple wearing a metal bib. Now we can finally see he's supposed to be a gnorc, and the armour looks much more regal too.
